The front entry of this 6,500 sq. ft. home consists of two pairs of doors — an interior pair of custom Walnut, raised panel pocket doors and an exterior pair made from bronze and glass (not shown). The heavily distressed finish on the interior doors and casing was created to match the antique columns in the Foyer.
The vanity in this men’s powder room is created from solid Cypress, including the hand-shaped sink bowl. The Walnut commode partition features carved initials of the family members.
Custom Eggplant painted and acrylic pedestals display antique urns at both ends of the home’s long, central hall. Each end of the hall is finished with white wall paneling and trim and concealed Italian Walnut storage cabinets.
The custom wet bar includes plain sliced Mahogany cabinets, a flip-open bar top on invisible hinges, clear acrylic wine bottle storage racks with chrome dowels, and antique mirrored walls.
The entire feature wall in this guest room consists of custom veneered rift sawn White Oak paneling with a Murphy bed and storage cabinets behind.
The Master Suite entrance is a pair of 4 panel, Walnut doors with an arched transom and the hall is finished with white trim and paneled niches. When open, the Master Bath entry doors (shown above right) fit flush into the paneled opening. When closed they reveal the recessed paneled entrance.
Custom wood, recessed panel vanities and mirror frames on either side of this Master Bath are surrounded by the book-matched marble slab walls and flooring with mosaic inlays.
His Study blends a curved “floating” ceiling, Cherry wood and painted display shelves and cabinets. The entrance to this private sanctuary (shown above right) brings together painted wood paneling, glass & stainless steel entrance doors, hand-scraped Oak flooring and leather floor tiles.
Stairways on either end of the home feature quartered Oak treads, LED backlit frosted glass risers, half inch glass wainscot and brushed stainless handrails and fixtures.
